I'm Simi and I paint portraits for pets who are deeply loved ... the ones who feel like family.
Using bright watercolours on fine art paper, my work isn’t about perfect realism, but about capturing the expression, spirit, and quiet moments that make your pet uniquely them. I spend hours studying their eyes, the tilt of their head, the small details you know by heart.

FAQs
What photos work best?
Clear, well-lit photos are ideal, but phone photos are absolutely fine. Send me your favourites and I'll help you choose the best ones. Clear facial details and light in the eyes make a big difference and really help bring the portrait to life.
Can I gift a portrait experience to a loved one?
Yes! I offer both surprise gifts and prepaid vouchers. The recipient can then send through their favourite photos of their pet when they're ready.
How long does a portrait take?
Portraits typically take 2 - 3 weeks to complete, depending on my current commission schedule. I'll confirm timing when you enquire. If the portrait is intended as a gift, let me know your deadline and I'll do my best to accommodate your timeline.
Do the portraits come framed?
Portraits are delivered unframed. Framing options are available for an additional cost if you'd like a finished, ready-to-hang piece.
How do payment and deposits work?
To secure a commission, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required via bank transfer. Once the portrait is complete, I'll send you images of the finished piece and request the remaining balance prior to delivery.
Do you ship across Australia?
Yes - I offer free shipping across Australia for all unframed portraits.
